Need a ride?
Two weeks ago, Italy came to Dallas as Italian Fashion Week – and for that week, I was content. Later this week, a friend of mine is leaving for a six week vacation in Italy. Ok, so she was fired from her job (sort of a forced vacation), but they paid her through the end of the year. Not exactly the best send off. However, as a freelancer, paid time off in Italy sounds pretty great to me. Besides, she didn’t like that job.
Then there are all the bloggers and expats either living in Italy or traveling through Italy, like my friend will be soon. For now, I’ll live vicariously through them, read their blogs, enjoy their Instagrams, and reflect on my travels through Italy. I know I’ll go back, it’s just that I’m feeling a bit nostalgic at them moment.

This was taken in Rome, outside the Capitoline Museum. There was a huge wedding party and Italian style was evident everywhere.
